Objective
The Finance Manager utilizes their accounting and finance knowledge and expertise to oversee processes in accounting, budgeting, reforecasting, billings, and payments.
Essential Responsibilities
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to occasionally lift and move 10 - 25 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.

Objective
The Finance Manager utilizes their accounting and finance knowledge and expertise to oversee processes in accounting, budgeting, reforecasting, billings, and payments.
Essential Responsibilities
- Month-end close activities including preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Preparation and/or review of monthly elimination, allocation, or distribution entries ensuring accurate consolidated financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP
- Develop and maintain meaningful reports, metrics, and commentary explaining the differences from budget, forecast, latest estimate, and prior year monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date income statements
- Preparation and assessment of consolidated financial statements using SAP, SAP Business One, and other platforms as necessary
- Provide oversight into the treasury and accounting operations, and serve as a resource to senior and staff accountants, and the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams
- Prepare and coordinate the compilation of the monthly financial reports to internal and external business partners
- Assist in the annual and mid-year budgeting and forecasting process by providing relevant data to support assumptions and meaningful discussion around assumptions used
- Reconcile and analyze large, diverse streams of data related to revenue and expenses
- Review trial balance for GAAP compliance and consistency with internal accounting policies
- Develop and manage company accounting policies and internal controls
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including reporting and disclosure requirements
- 5+ years accounting experience, audit and/or manufacturing industry experience a plus
- Prior Financial Reporting and Budgeting / Forecasting experience preferred
- CPA License highly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, required
- Ability to problem-solve, self-start, and work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization, deductive reasoning, and attention to detail
- Continuous-improvement mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and perform tasks efficiently and accurately
- Knowledge of SAP Business One/Orchestrated Beer a plus
