Financial Analyst - #178700

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Financial Analyst for a position located in Akron, Ohio. The Financial Analyst will work with 5-6 project managers concurrently to support projects in various phases of design and construction.

The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business, and 4 years related experience.

Local candidates preferred or open to relocation. This is not a remote position.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain external and internal cost reports, cash flows and forecasts.
• Report accurate updates to cost reports or forecasts.
• Responsible for ensuring quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables.
• Ability to compare schedule to financial data to ensure consistency of project timeline.
• Ability to integrate schedule data and other data sources in excel via formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.
• Analyze project controls reports, present findings and provide recommendations to the project controls team.
• Ensure budget tracking against Purchase Orders or Subcontracts.
• Responsible for the review of upstream (prime contract) / downstream (PO & subcontract) change orders.
• Manage integrated data from one program to another.
• Responsible for ensuring quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables.
• Serves as a point of contact for technical questions from APM's, PM's, Lead Engineers, or Construction staff.
• All other duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements of the Financial Analyst:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or business from accredited program.
• A minimum of 4 years related experience.
• Ability to work independently, think creatively and analytically, and make quick and sound decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to travel.
• Valid driver’s license required.
