Financial Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis - #261624

This position is a part of the FP&A organization and reports to the Manager – FP&A & Accounts Payable. In this role, the Financial Analyst actively participates in all phases of the financial and accounting cycle including month-end close, financial reporting and analysis, and forecasting and planning processes. This analyst will take a deeper dive into key leading indicators driving performance and will engage in various process improvements aiming for favorable, sustainable progress. The successful candidate must have SAP knowledge, including S/4 HANA.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare business reporting package for management, including Net Trading Capital, and Cash Flow Forecast
• Conduct cash forecast analysis
• Conduct or assist with month-end close activities including allocations, assessments, reviews to ensure complete, accurate and timely close
• Review and analyze financial results to determine accuracy and completeness of information; identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
• Analyze distribution cost to identify accuracy and opportunities for cost reduction
• Support the good receipt/invoice receipt (GRIR) process
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to S/4 HANA systems
• Conduct comprehensive inventory analysis and evaluate the financial impacts on inventory management
• Learn nuances of business operations, and build/refine KPIs used day-to-day
• Help improve processes and standardization
• Perform monthly and ad-hoc management reporting and analysis; assist with special projects and other duties as directed
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics
• >5 years of work experience in financial analysis, accounting, or general business
• Highly motivated, interested in own career growth
• Strong analytical problem solver with ability to analyze data and provide in depth explanations and correlations
• Proven analytical and financial modeling skills
• Detail-oriented and timeline driven with emphasis on accuracy and results
• Strong coordination, communication (oral and written), facilitation and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to work comfortably across all levels of employees and management
• Ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Self-starter, active participant on teams, proactively reach out to team members to accomplish goals
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite products; strong Excel and Power Point skills required
• Experience in S4 HANA required

• MBA or CPA a plus
