Prepares, researches, and analyzes financial and utilization information to support the department.
Essential Functions
- Performs statistical, cost, and financial variance analysis of data to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provides guidance on business issues including financial and profitability analysis. Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
- Serves as a consultant to assigned areas of the organization to support the financial goals and objectives of Corewell Health.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics or related field
- 3 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting or a related field
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
- Able to work onsite 3 days per week at our Dearborn location
- Master's degree in business or finance
- Formal or informal leadership experience
- Healthcare experience
- LIC - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Michigan
