This includes preparing food, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting coworkers to ensure smooth, efficient service. The role is ideal for those who take pride in their work and enjoy contributing to a positive dining experience for students and staff.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve food according to recipes, production records, and safety standardsMaintain a clean, safe kitchen and service areaStock serving lines, salad bars, and milk coolersFollow proper procedures for food storage, rotation, and sanitationServe meals to students, staff, and visitors in a courteous mannerAssist with putting away deliveries and organizing inventorySweep, mop, and take out trash as neededFollow all local, state, federal, and company health regulationsStep in to assist team members or cover shifts as neededSubmit reports and meet deadlines as assignedCarry out any additional duties to support the kitchen team and school meal programQualificationsPrevious food service or cleaning experience preferredStrong work ethic and ability to work well with othersComfortable with repetitive tasks and following a routineBasic math and computer skillsMust pass a background check and fingerprint screeningReliable transportation requiredEnjoys working around children and being part of a school communityRespectful, inclusive, and professional with all coworkers and customersPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsMust be able to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds occasionallyRegular bending, reaching, walking, and use of handsModerate kitchen noise and frequent movement in fast-paced settingsFull-time schedule Monday through Friday, with occasional extended weeksMay require participation in company events or meetingsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer, Gender/Minority/Veterans/Disabled and participates with E-Verify Employment Eligibility Program
