Salary:

Contract type: Full time
As Founding Designer, you’ll work directly with the founders to shape how software work gets done in the age of AI. You’ll own the design of Floot’s core product experience — from the AI builder, editor, and generated apps to onboarding, brand, and growth.
Floot helps non-coders and entrepreneurs turn ideas into real apps and websites without writing code. But our ambition goes beyond app generation: we want to explore new patterns for how people interact with AI to solve business problems, automate workflows, and transform how work gets done.
Design is central to that mission. Our users need to feel powerful, confident, and never stuck. You’ll define the craft bar for the product and help make creating with AI feel simple, magical, and reliable.
What you’ll do
Talk to users often to understand where they get stuck, what makes them successful, and how Floot can make building with AI feel effortless.
Own end-to-end product design for Floot’s core experiences, including AI chat, app generation, editing, onboarding, publishing, templates, and app management.
Design new interaction patterns for working with AI: helping users guide, revise, debug, automate, and understand what AI is doing for them.
Set the visual and UX quality bar for both Floot’s product and the apps users generate with Floot.
Vibe code your way into the product. AI has lowered the barrier to shipping, and we expect designers to prototype, build, and ship real product experiences — not just hand off mockups.
Help shape Floot’s brand, website, growth experiments, launch assets, and storytelling as we define the category of AI-powered software creation.
Requirements
Strong product design experience: you’ve designed and shipped high-quality software products end-to-end.
Excellent UX instincts: you can simplify complex workflows and make technical or AI-driven systems feel intuitive.
Strong visual craft: you care about typography, spacing, interaction details, hierarchy, and polish.
Ability to ship: you’re comfortable using AI tools to prototype, vibe code, and push product ideas into production.
Comfort with ambiguity: you can turn messy user problems into clear flows, prototypes, and shipped product.
Fast but thoughtful: you move quickly, learn from users, and know where craft matters most.
Strong sense of ownership: you’re autonomous and comfortable owning broad parts of the product from idea to execution.
Excited about AI-native design: you want to invent new interaction models for working with AI, not just apply existing SaaS patterns.
