Founders School is creating a new educational model for driven teens who want to build companies rather than postpone entrepreneurship until later in life. We're looking for someone capable of transforming founder dialogues, student milestones, and entrepreneurial insights into platform-optimized content that captures attention without paid promotion. Your performance won't be evaluated through content schedules, branding documents, or vendor oversight. Instead, it comes down to a single metric: whether the audience expands and qualified families choose to enroll.

This is fundamentally a creator position with a leadership-level title. You'll personally find stories, craft hooks, shoot footage, edit videos, publish content, and continuously refine output across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and new platforms as they emerge. AI should already be integrated into your workflow for research, editing, repurposing, and optimization. Each piece of content functions as a test. What You Will Be Doing

  • Independently produce founder-focused content by scripting, shooting, editing, packaging, publishing, and refining videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and additional creator platforms.
  • Transform founder conversations, student achievements, live events, and unedited footage into narratives that resonate organically with ambitious teenagers and their parents.
  • Execute fast-cycle tests on hooks, thumbnails, titles, video formats, editing techniques, posting frequency, and distribution methods to drive organic audience expansion.
  • Leverage analytics platforms and AI workflows to enhance content quality, accelerate production timelines, and boost performance with each iteration.
  • Develop the creator-driven media system that fuels qualified admissions interest through genuine storytelling instead of paid channels.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Overseeing agencies, production contractors, or staff who handle content creation on your behalf.
  • Reviewing and greenlighting creative work from the periphery rather than personally executing high-impact content.
  • Executing traditional school marketing, enterprise brand initiatives, or maintaining scheduled social media posts.
  • Pursuing superficial engagement metrics or depending on paid media instead of cultivating organic audience development.
  • Allocating time to strategy meetings about content rather than actively producing it.

Founding Video Producer Key Responsibilities

Independently construct Founders School's creator-driven media infrastructure to deliver 5,000 qualified inbound admissions inquiries in the first 12 months via high-impact, founder-centered content.

Basic Requirements

  • Documented experience in one of these areas:
    • Independently grew an audience from zero to millions as a creator or as an early contributor on a creator team, or
    • Operated hands-on within a top-tier founder-driven content operation with direct accountability for content production and audience expansion.
  • A portfolio containing 2–3 examples of content you personally filmed, edited, packaged, and published with verifiable organic results.
  • Proven ability to articulate your specific role in audience growth using data such as subscribers, followers, watch time, engagement, shares, or views.
  • Advanced hands-on proficiency in scripting, filming, editing, packaging, publishing, and refining creator-focused video content.
  • Strong intuition for founder-driven narratives and platform-specific content formats.
  • Routine use of AI tools to expedite research, scripting, editing, repurposing, or performance enhancement.
  • Currently based in, or prepared to relocate to, New York, NY within 60 days.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Background producing content for entrepreneurs, startup founders, or creator-driven companies.
  • Track record launching a media brand or channel from the ground up.
  • Strong grasp of what appeals to ambitious teenagers and aspiring young entrepreneurs.
  • Ability to convert analytics insights into scalable content frameworks.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
