Job Summary:

This position is accountable for performing patient-related tasks and non-patient related tasks under the continuous and immediate supervision of a Physical Therapist.

• PC competency, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Essential Functions:

• Arrange treatment supplies to keep them in order.
• Change linens, such as bed sheets and pillow cases.
• Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment.
• Confer with physical therapy staff or others to discuss treatment.
• Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly.
• Transport patients to and from treatment areas, using wheelchairs or providing standing support.
• Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College level course work in kinesiology, physical therapy, or healthcare related field preferred.
• Two years’ experience as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Inpatient experience preferred.

Required Licenses/Certification:

• Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

$25.00
