This Full Sheet Assembler is responsible for tasks related to the application of various materials including printed sheets of membrane switches, lexan, mylar and aluminum. The person in this position may apply adhesives to overlays and panels along with applying those overlays to finished subpanels. Stripping out parts from fabricated sheets, the assembly of parts, and performing slit-lining of adhesive liner paper using mechanical equipment. This position may also assemble components/died-out materials by hand, ensuring that assembled products are within established quality guidelines and customer specifications. Essential job responsibilities include:
- Receive order/job ticket assignments from lead based on customer and shipping priority; perform associated task in alignment with the customer specifications and company's quality standards, bringing any issues to attention of department lead
- Read ticket to ensure proper hardware and materials are present in alignment with customer specifications; report discrepancies to department lead and remedy the situation to a satisfactory conclusion
- Obtain lead's signature for set-up approval in compliance with the work instructions
- Perform slit lining of customer part when necessary for application of adhesive to substrates
- Assemble and laminate sheets of overlays, membranes, and adhesives
- Assemble one-up parts that may come through the department as a job ticket
- Strip out parts, remove slugs and strip excess from die-cut sheets
- Inspect parts frequently during assembly to assure quality and that customer specifications are met and are in line with company's expectations and quality standards
- May be asked to clean parts using various solvents and cleaners in preparation for assembly or shipping
- Upon completion of job, tabulate number of parts, complete documentation, and clean area in support of the company's 6S standards
- Other duties as assigned
- The pay range for this position: $18.69 – $21.00/hour, FLSA non-exempt

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one year of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Familiarity with 6S and lean standards preferred
