Floor Technician - 1 year minimum experience. Keep floors clean and in good condition using various cleaning tools and techniques, including stripping, waxing, and buffing. - Specific program and eligibility rules apply.
- Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweeps floor.
- Vacuums rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Polishes metalwork.
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets; and empties and cleans ashtrays.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Performs such other duties as assigned.
- MUST HAVE PRIOR FLOOR WORK experience of safely stripping, scrubbing and recoating of vinyl floors, carpet extracting, pressure washing, automatic scrubbers and other various floor machines.
- MUST HAVE PRIOR CLEANING EXPERIENCE.
- Must be flexible to help with other cleaning duties as needed.
- Must eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to READ ENGLISH.
- Must be able to PASS A BACKGROUND AND DRIVER LICENSE SCREENING.
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation.
