This Occupational Therapist (OT) role involves providing care to young adult through geriatric populations across various settings, including IP Rehab, SNF, and Acute Care (total joints).
- Responsibilities include assessing, developing, and implementing treatment plans focused on prevention, management, and rehabilitation to help patients achieve independence in daily activities.
- Treatments emphasize adaptive equipment, compensatory strategies, visual perception, cognitive retraining, therapeutic exercises, pain relief, and restoring impairments caused by disease or injury.
- Direct care staff must complete Hip and Knee Replacement Program curriculum and annual education modules.
- Qualifications include graduation from an accredited OT program, active Missouri licensure, and BLS certification within 90 days.
- No prior experience required; strong clinical, communication, organizational skills, and interest in professional growth are preferred.
