Position Summary
The General Manager (GM) is a key role responsible for driving Choura’s mission, vision, and core values throughout the organization. This individual will be tasked with developing and managing a high-performing team of event professionals, aligning sales and operations, and ensuring the company meets and exceeds both financial goals and customer expectations.
As a strategic leader, the GM will put the right people in the right seats, cultivate operational excellence, and foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and performance.

This individual will be tasked with developing and managing a high-performing team of event professionals, aligning sales and operations, and ensuring the company meets and exceeds both financial goals and customer expectations.
As a strategic leader, the GM will put the right people in the right seats, cultivate operational excellence, and foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and performance.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor and communicator to the CEO, consistently delivering clear insights on the company's operational and financial health.
- Lead decision-making with a strong connection to Choura’s vision, mission, and values.
- Deeply understand and manage company financials—including budgeting, forecasting, and margin performance—to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
- Uphold a principled decision-making process that prioritizes long-term success and organizational integrity.
- Maintain balance and alignment between sales and operations on a daily basis.
- Create and refine forecasting tools that emphasize high-margin opportunities.
- Develop and enforce consistent pricing strategies across all sales teams.
- Closely monitor cost of goods sold (COGS) and revenue to maintain healthy profit margins.
- Drive growth strategies focused on key accounts and multi-year partnerships.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key customers through regular communication.
- Partner with the Director of Operations to recruit and retain high-performing field and warehouse teams.
- Collaborate with analysts to integrate real-time data into strategic decision-making, especially when margins are at risk.
- Engage in ongoing, honest dialogue with the CEO to maintain a pulse on team performance and morale.
- Lead internal initiatives to increase EBITDA and demonstrate return on investment.
- Serve as a brand ambassador in both professional and personal settings, representing Choura with professionalism and authenticity.
