Title: Global Medical Affairs Manager

Pay: $42.30/hr plus benefits

FT or PT: Full-Time

Location: Newark Metro Area

Duration: One-year contract

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Global Medical Affairs Manager for a contract position with our client—a dynamic, rapidly growing healthcare company in the therapeutics sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Critically analyze and synthesize scientific literature related to nicotine replacement therapy and other drug products, including clinical, pharmacological, behavioral, and health economic evidence
  • Develop compelling scientific narratives and medical summaries for regulatory submissions and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Review global promotional materials and assemble claims substantiation documents in accordance with applicable guidelines and legal frameworks
  • Lead, mentor, and support cross-functional teams by elevating evidence-generation, scientific communications, and claims substantiation capabilities
  • Develop study plans and oversee external vendors conducting clinical and non-clinical studies (e.g., PK/PD modeling, bioequivalence, product sensory studies)
  • Ensure all studies meet rigorous scientific and quality standards
  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with academic research centers, key opinion leaders, and healthcare professionals to support research collaborations and evidence-generation strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally to build and mature global medical affairs capabilities, processes, and best practices—driving sustainable solutions for future portfolio growth.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a health or life sciences field (PharmD, PhD, MD, MSc, RN, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or consumer health industry, or completion of a related post-graduate fellowship
  • Strong critical evaluation skills, excellent medical writing, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly
  • Experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or evidence generation strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with PK/PD modeling and bioequivalence also highly desirable
  • Proven project and vendor management abilities, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, motivation, and independence
