Summary

Arrowmark is seeking a Superintendent to join our Team. The Grading Superintendent is responsible for day-to-day planning and scheduling of multiple projects. The Grading Superintendent position is a hands-on position and requires a willingness to jump in and help get the job done. Strong leadership skills are necessary to guide a crew. Experience operating equipment is important. The ability to communicate and get along with others is another important element of the Superintendent role. Every employee at Arrowmark is either Osha 10 or Osha 30 Certified. Osha 30 is mandatory for this position. Arrowmark covers the cost of this certification and it must be completed during the orientation period.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Day to day planning and scheduling of multiple projects
• Qualified and Willing to operate equipment
• Change orders - Collect, track, and provide backup
• Order materials and talk to vendors
• Promote and support all company safety policies and practices
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in the industry and 2 years in a Superintendent role
• Experience with loader, blade and scraper, skid steer, and other equipment
• Must possess good leadership skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and get along with customers, contractors, and employees
• Be a problem solver
• Ability to read and understand blueprints related to grading, drainage plans, and structural
• Willingness to learn, be hands on, and jump in to get the job done
• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Valid AZ Driver License and acceptable MVR required. Must maintain a driving record that is insurable with our insurance policy while in this position.
• This position is considered a safety-sensitive position and is subject to the company's drug and alcohol policy, as well as all OSHA regulations.
• Must pass background check, prior employment verification, drug screen and MVR
• Must be committed to Safety and willing to participate and follow company policies and Osha regulations.
  
  

Physical Requirements: Must be able to wear different types of PPE as required and pass a basic physical. This position requires the ability to stand, sit, walk, see, hear, bend, squat, lift arms overhead as necessary. Must be able to work in extreme weather including heat and cold. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required sit and/or drive for long periods of time and to lift up to 50lbs.
