Date: 1 day ago
City: Sandy, UT
Contract type: Full time

Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Design to win.
Collaborate closely with pursuit teams and marketing strategists to design custom proposals, interview materials, and visuals that position Layton as the clear choice. You’ll own the look, feel, and functionality of high-stakes marketing collateral—bringing clarity, structure, and storytelling to every page.
Own the visual narrative.
Turn complex construction solutions and data into clean, digestible layouts and infographics. Translate win themes into visuals that resonate with clients and communicate our value.
Bring the brand to life.
Elevate and evolve the Layton brand across touchpoints—while ensuring consistency. Be the guardian of good design, guiding internal teams to raise the bar.
Maintain and optimize proposal templates.
Take ownership of our InDesign proposal templates, ensuring they’re built to industry best practices—using well-structured paragraph and character styles, grid systems, and master pages to create clean, consistent, and efficient layouts. You'll help streamline workflows, reduce formatting errors, and empower the team with tools that make great design easier and faster.
Collaborate like a pro.
Work with business development leaders, marketers, and subject matter experts to understand what makes each project and pursuit unique—and reflect that in the final product.
Think beyond the proposal.
Support internal campaigns, presentations, and thought leadership pieces. You’ll be a go-to resource for anything visual that needs to inspire, persuade, or inform.
Stay sharp and ahead.
Constantly hone your craft by exploring new design tools, trends, and technologies. Bring fresh ideas and new energy to the team.
