Apply now for the position of Head of Global Operations, Ultrasound Business. We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Head of Global Operations. This role will report to the Chief Executive Officer for the Ultrasound business. This role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the global manufacturing, supply chain, and end-to-end value chain operations for a leading healthcare organization. This executive leader will drive operational excellence, ensuring efficient production, seamless global supply chain management, and strategic alignment with business objectives. Experience in manufacturing ultrasound and catheter devices is highly desirable.

Your Role

• Oversee global manufacturing operations, ensuring best-in-class production efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing footprint, enhance productivity, and reduce costs.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Lead the development and execution of global supply chain strategies, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
• Drive supply chain resilience and risk mitigation strategies to enhance agility and efficiency.
• Leverage technology and data analytics to optimize the supply chain and improve decision-making.
• Develop and enhance integrated value chain strategies to maximize operational efficiencies and cost savings.
• Align global operations with business goals, driving end-to-end process improvements from raw materials to product delivery.
• Foster collaboration across functions to ensure seamless value chain execution.
• Champion process improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
• Implement best practices in manufacturing and supply chain management to improve quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives within operations to enhance productivity and innovation.
• Build and lead a high-performing global operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, commercial teams, and regulatory functions to ensure operational alignment with business objectives.
• Engage with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and customers, to enhance operational effectiveness.
  
  

Your Expertise

• Strong experience in regulated environments.
• Expertise in operational excellence, process improvement, and waste reduction.
• Knowledge of automation, IoT, AI-driven production, and Industry 4.0.
• Experience ensuring compliance with international healthcare standards.
  
  

Required skills to have for the success in this role:

• 15+ years of experience in global operations leadership within the healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Proven track record in manufacturing operations, particularly in regulated environments.
• Experience managing end-to-end global supply chain operations
• Strong expertise in value chain optimization and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Prior experience with ultrasound and catheter devices is a plus.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements for medical device manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale global teams and drive strategic initiatives.
• Strong financial and business acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• The ability to be based in either the Issaquah, WA or Palo Alto, CA location.
• The ability to travel 30-50% of the time and globally required.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $272,000 - Max $408,000
