USL Spokane is seeking a strategic Head of Ticket Sales & Service to lead our ticketing department. This role has full ownership of ticket sales, service, and retention efforts, and plays a critical role in delivering exceptional fan experiences, driving revenue, and strengthening community and corporate relationships.

This individual will oversee the development and execution of ticketing strategies, including season packages, group sales, and corporate accounts. This role will also lead a dynamic team, foster long-term customer and sponsor relationships, and ensure top-tier service across all interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the ticketing staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and staff development.
  • Establish a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor departmental efficiency, staffing needs, and resource allocation.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement annual and long-term ticket sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Set and track team and individual sales goals; evaluate performance through daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
  • Create and oversee outbound sales campaigns for season tickets, partial plans, group sales, and premium seating.

Client Relationships & Customer Service

  • Cultivate strong relationships with fans, season ticket holders, and community stakeholders.
  • Deliver white-glove service and customer retention strategies to enhance loyalty and fan satisfaction.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, sponsorship, and community relations teams to support organizational goals.
  • Assist in planning and executing theme nights, fan experiences, and stadium events.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the ticketing team and executive leadership.

Budgeting & Reporting

  • Develop and manage annual sales budgets, forecasts, and revenue reports.
  • Analyze sales trends and recommend adjustments to strategies and staffing plans.

Game Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee group areas and premium client services.
  • Support promotional execution and fan engagement initiatives.
  • Act as an ambassador of USL Spokane, delivering high-touch experiences to fans, sponsors, and VIP guests.
  • Assist other departments as needed to ensure successful game-day operations.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Exempt position with salary range of $105,000 - $130,000
  • Eligible for performance-based bonus
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
  • Unlimited vacation and paid sick leave (prorated sick leave the first year of employment)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, sports management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years prior sales and/or ticket office experience preferred. Sports sales experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in ticket sales, team management, and customer retention.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build respectful working relationships and effectively communicate with employees, management, vendors, contractors, and community partners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional team.
  • High degree of personal initiative.
  • Proven track record of personal and team achievements.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently in multi-faceted, fast, fluid, and deadline-driven environment.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to pass comprehensive background check including a motor vehicle report.
  • Possess and maintain a current and valid driver’s license and maintain legally required insurance.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed primarily in an office setting.
  • Ability to work with moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and / or loud noise while performing work in the field and at the stadium.
  • Essential position functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to:
  • Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Regularly talk and hear
  • Occasionally walk; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
  • Lift, carry, push, and /or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 15 pounds

  • And utilize verbal and written communication to exchange information

Working Conditions

While performing the essential job functions, the employee may experience the following conditions:

  • Position may require flexible hours which may include extended days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overnights due to travel.

  • Noise Conditions: exposed to nose consistent with a standard office environment on a regular basis; exposed to loud noise occasionally.

  • Injury Exposure: May be exposed to mechanical equipment used to support players in their training.
  • The club may accommodate some work from home and remote work based upon the needs of the club and suitability for the position.
