What You'll Do
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the Account Management department and overall company vision and objectives; Lead various initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery, alignment with organizational goals, and collaboration across cross-functional teams (e.g. Clinical, Sales, Plan Administration, etc.).
- Understand workflows, facilitate interdepartmental communication, and create a collaborative environment to align approach and execute solutions.
- Accountable for assigned projects and operational collaboration during execution of new or enhanced processes and programs. Coordinates with project and department managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure goals and objectives are met.
- Work closely with our Sales, Clinical, and Member Services teams to execute improvements and enhancements to ensure services are delivering exceptional experience and value to our clients and business partners.
- Proactively identify opportunities to address issues, improve and document processes and implement new initiatives related to Client and Member Success. Develop and implement solutions across people, process, and technology in support of MedOne, Client, and business partner objectives.
- Build and deliver effective change strategies within the Account Management team to introduce new technology or tools, reduce operational cost, support procedural change, and/or increase profitability.
- Manages risk by bridging interdepartmental gaps and connecting information within the organization. Acts as a centralized facilitating point for the coordination of tasks and integrated execution of key initiatives and reduces activities carried out in isolation.
- Relays information and coordinates tasks to rectify or respond to inquiries e.g. audits, regulatory requirements, and plan reconciliations.
- Derive and analyze data to drive decision-making through identifying trends, bottlenecks in operational workflows, and recommending/scoping impact of solutions. Monitor throughputs and outcomes to assess efficiency and quality.
- Assess the quality and effectiveness of processes and service offerings and resolve technical and operational issues to ensure MedOne and Client expectations are exceeded.
- Work closely with the MedOne Legal team to ensure our products and services meet appropriate regulatory and compliance standards.
- Conduct operational risk assessments and implement preventive measures to mitigate potential risks.
- Recommends opportunities and/or action plans for improved performance based on business need. Provides analysis and recommendations to leadership in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of modifications to current approach.
- 7 years’ experience in the healthcare space including 5 years focused on operations and business management.
- Travel, etc. 5-10%.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Dynamics (CRM).
- Strong leadership skills to motivate teams, make decisions, and guide the organization toward operational goals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze complex situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to convey information, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and interact with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to think analytically for interpreting data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement involves constantly seeking ways to enhance operational processes and outcomes.
- Naturally curious, questions assumptions and challenges the status quo – understands and helps individuals work through resistance to change.
- Strong attention to detail – quickly become an expert in new areas, ask the right questions, and connect dots to ensure accuracy and completeness of initiatives.
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and effectively navigate ambiguity and change to drive results.
