Position Summary
This is a full-time, on-site role that supports day-to-day People Operations in the distribution center. The coordinator serves as a key point of contact for employees and leaders, providing bilingual support across onboarding, employee questions, HR systems, records administration, engagement activities, and operational People Team processes.
This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
Recruitment Support:
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate assessments.
- Act as a point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist in conducting reference checks and background screenings.
- Maintain the applicant tracking system and ensure accurate and up-to-date recruitment data.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics, new hire documentation, and orientation support.
- Coordinate offboarding processes, including scheduling exit interviews and updating employee records.
- Maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data, ensuring accuracy and integrity of employee records.
- Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Generate People Team reports and assist in data analysis for People Team metrics and trends.
- Process People-related transactions in HRIS systems and maintain accurate employee data.
- Support employee data management, including changes to personal information, job titles, compensation, and promotions.
- Maintain accurate employee files, People Team records, and HRIS data in compliance with company standards.
- Provide bilingual English-Spanish support for employee communication, orientations, trainings, meetings, and People Team processes.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives, such as company events, wellness programs, and employee recognition activities.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to policies, forms, onboarding, and general People Team support, and direct specialized questions to the appropriate partner as needed.
- Escalate employee concerns appropriately while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Support open-door practices and help foster a positive, inclusive employee experience.
- Provide bilingual interpretation/translation support during trainings, roundtables, investigations, and employee meetings as needed.
- Greets visitors/vendors and notifies appropriate internal parties. Communicate effectively by telephone, in person, or via email to positively reflect the goals and best interests of the Company.
- Maintains office supplies, including purchasing/refilling orders as needed; serves as point of contact for contracted vending companies.
- Provide general administrative support to the People Team, Operations team, and facilities team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Assist in preparing documents, presentations, and reports.
- Assist with projects and initiatives, as assigned.
Core Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, including the ability to translate verbally and in writing for employee meetings, orientations, trainings, and day-to-day employee support.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and shared communication tools to manage employee data and workflow.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional phone and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships across stakeholder groups.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
- Confidence in presenting information and speaking in front of groups.
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
- Safety-conscious and focused on continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates professionalism, leads by example, and models best practices in daily work.
- 1 year of previous experience in HR, recruitment, or related roles.
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced distribution center environment and partnering closely with frontline operations teams.
