Responsibilities
As an HR Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive HR services and acting as a strategic partner to our clients on matters including benefits, compensation, employee relations, recruitment, training and development, and HRIS systems. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Conducting audits of HR, payroll, benefits, or related functions to provide recommendations for improvement.
Assisting with client recruiting activities such as job postings, candidate screening, and conducting phone interviews.
Managing benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Handling employee relations matters and managing leaves of absence.
Performing HR administrative tasks such as terminations, employee onboarding, filing, and maintaining accurate employee records.
Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Coordinating employee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
Conducting investigations and resolving employee relations issues in a timely and confidential manner.
Staying up-to-date on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Assisting in training and development initiatives for employees at all levels.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Specialist or similar position.
Thorough knowledge of HR best practices, US employment laws, and regulations.
Experience In Employee Relations, Performance Management, And Benefits Administration.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Team player mindset with a commitment to the values of [Company Name Redacted] Solutions.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
Demonstrated commitment to staying abreast of changes in employment law and HR trends.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $48k - $58k/year base + quarterly revenue share; total on-target compensation range in the first year = $56k - $65k
