Responsibilities

• Serves as primary point of contact for specific department functions and assists with employee relations issues, questions and concerns.
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Assists with all aspects of recruitment and onboarding efforts; conducts new hire orientation.
• Maintains updates and ensures accuracy of information in HRIS.
• Audits employment related documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of professional Human Resources experience.
• Proficient computer skills required, including experience with MS Office Suite software and knowledge of HRIS software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving abilities along with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and exercise good judgement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated.
• Must possess ability to maintain confidentiality and establish credibility as a trusted HR professional.
• Manufacturing Experience
• Must be familiar with employment laws and standard HR concepts, practices and procedures along with proven ability to apply that knowledge.
