Job Summary

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a vital role in supporting our client programs and human resource initiatives, aligning with the company's strategic objectives. Your expertise in California and federal employment laws, coupled with effective communication skills, will empower managers and staff alike. You'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to analyze workflows, enhance processes, and optimize the utilization of HRIS capabilities.

Responsibilities

Administer leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with relevant state and federal regulations, while maintaining clear communication with employees and managers.

Manage employee benefits administration and support HR Manager during open enrollment activities.

Maintain accurate records and implement updates in HRIS (ADP Workforce Now).

Provide performance management assistance related to leaves of absence.

Develop project specifications and objectives, overseeing projects of moderate complexity.

Research HR trends, analyze data, and prepare reports to support decision-making processes.

Recommend improvements in departmental efficiency, policies, and procedures.

Ensure compliance with employment laws at all levels.

Assist Hiring Managers in determining options for employee job accommodations.

Coordinate and conduct training sessions on various HR programs and issues.

Support HR-related duties and projects, filling in for absent team members when necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field; HR certification preferred.

Minimum 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience, with expertise in benefits and leaves of absence (experience in non-profit or healthcare sector preferred).

Minimum 3 years of experience working with HRIS (ADP Workforce Now).

Proficient in Project Management.

In-depth knowledge of employment and labor laws and regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong training and presentation abilities.

Team player with leadership skills and a desire for professional development.
