Job Description

Identity & Access Management Analyst III is responsible for daily operational maintenance of accounts and access in support of the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. Responsibilities include maintaining account and access data, coordinating user reviews, audits, and reports, promoting IAM standards in IT projects and access control implementations, upholding documentation standards related to account and access activity, and communicating effectively with all customers to ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of Centra systems.

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of IAM operations related to user lifecycle management
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of user access analysis and provisioning concepts and operations
  • Demonstrate advanced ability to perform user account and access changes using designated provisioning tools or directly in systems/applications
  • Coordinate and perform internal and external audit activities
  • Coordinate and process report requests of user/IAM data as needed to support IAM, departmental, or organizational services and initiatives
  • Partner with business lines and system owners to define, document, and implement access controls and processes that meet business needs while adhering to defined IAM and organizational standards
  • Participate in IT projects to ensure that IAM tasks are addressed throughout the project life cycle and partner with key project stakeholders to mitigate identified security risks within defined IAM and organizational standards
  • Maintain IAM documentation standards, archive locations, and repository database controls
  • Coordinate and participate in user access and application reviews, including but not limited to high-risk entitlement reviews, user access level reviews, and application role reviews, to ensure that only appropriate access has been provisioned
  • Provide expert-level support and assistance for complex life-cycle management issues and analyze for process change
  • Identify opportunities and partner with appropriate teams for automation, innovation, and improvement of IAM life-cycle management processes and tools

  • Maintain content within IAM data repositories to ensure accurate referential documentation and reportable asset management
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all user and application reviews for future audits and as required for regulatory and/or compliance purposes
  • Advanced ability to correctly identify problems, analyze information, develop and evaluate options, and work with appropriate parties to ensure any IAM risks are mitigated
  • Demonstrate proficient analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Establish relationships with other IT teams and interface with key business stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise in the evaluation of IAM options, integrations, policies, and procedures
  • Demonstrate expert ability to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment
  • Display exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written

Quantity of Work – The employee’s success in producing the required amount of work (number of assignments completed, assignments completed on schedule, priority setting).

  • Use ITSM tool(s) for managing and tracking requests and incidents to ensure resolution within proper timelines
  • Provide status reports and perform timekeeping and capacity forecasting on a weekly basis

Customer Satisfaction – Employee’s engagement in helping to meet specific departmental goals and taking necessary steps to meet the overall organizational goals

  • Provide training and support to IAM analysts and fellow caregivers on security awareness, protocols and procedures
  • Attend and participate in meetings and other scheduled group discussions
  • Maintain advanced understanding of standard IAM concepts, such as identity lifecycle management and provisioning

Qualifications

Required Education: High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university

Required Experience: Five to seven (5-7) or more years of equivalent healthcare IS related work experience

Required Certifications & Licensures: Certified Access Management Specialist (CAMS). Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP) within one (1) year of hire date . Maintain Identity Management Institute (IMI) membership and continuing education credits for CAMS and CIMP certifications
