Position Summary

The Inside Service Sales Specialist role is part of Smoke Guard’s Direct Sales division. This role is responsible for partnering with the Direct Sales Manager to efficiently sell fire and smoke protection systems and service in the Texas & Arizona market. This role is located in our Boise, Idaho office and is eligible for quarterly sales bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and customer satisfaction through professional and efficient sales activities throughout the Service sales process, including:
  • Selling service contract renewals in the TX & AZ market in coordination with the overall Direct Sales team. Drafting/sending proposals and revisions in coordination with Direct Sales Manager.

Gaining customer acceptance and initiating sales execution processes.

Ensuring necessary sales documentation completed in CRM and prepare for renewal and future account growth.

Coordinate with Direct Sales Manager in identifying and prioritizing customer sales opportunities and executing actions as required.

Partner in sales efforts with Sales Manager, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Technicians, and other team members to ensure alignment with all processes and procedures and to meet customer needs.

Establish, develop, and maintain positive relationships with customers and other business.

Gain and maintain technical knowledge of products and services offered and attend internal and external training as needed.

Review and maintain documentation of sales activities, customer contacts, contracts, purchase orders, work orders, and other necessary information in company systems.

Perform other duties as needed.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Familiarity with sales and sales support processes.
  • Familiarity with construction industry and related terminology and/or familiarity with B2B service provider.
  • Customer-focused attitude and the ability to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Able to efficiently and promptly produce and deliver proposals and sales information tailored to customer and prospect needs in partnership/alignment with Account Manager.
  • Highly motivated and target driven, with a strong focus on delivering customer.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally with team members, customers and potential customers
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize customer needs with business needs.
  • Able to plan and execute required tasks independently and efficiently.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software, CRM systems, and other industry.

Experience

  • 2 or more years of experience in a Sales or related role.
  • Experience with technical sales.
  • Experience with remote sales development and cold calling.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • College degree or completion of some college coursework in Business Administration or Construction Management is preferred.

Work Environment

  • Physical Conditions: This position works in a professional office environment, routinely uses standard office equipment, and is seated for long periods of time.
  • Location: This role is located at our office in Boise, ID.

Other Requirements

  • Physical- This position operates in a professional office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
  • Limited travel to Direct sales offices for training or select project/customer visits is required 10% or less.

The position includes base salary and quarterly sales bonuses.

CSW Industrials has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing salary ranges to ensure we remain competitive. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors. Sales roles are eligible for a sales bonus.
