Position Summary

e.l.f. Cosmetics is seeking a dynamic and driven Digital Intern to join our Digital team, working closely with the Senior Manager of Data & Mobile Innovation. This role is based in Oakland, CA, though remote applicants are also welcome.

The internship will focus on supporting the growth and performance of the e.l.f. Mobile App in the U.S. and U.K. markets. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including eCommerce, Creative, IT, Innovation, and external partners to contribute to the app’s day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

We’re looking for a student currently enrolled in a two- or four-year university, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty and digital innovation, excited by consumer behavior, and eager to turn insights into action to help grow the app channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day management, setup, and content updates of the e.l.f. Mobile App
  • Partner with the Creative team to brief and source content/assets for the App
  • Support app communications in collaboration with the CRM team
  • Coordinate with IT and external vendors to ensure smooth technical operations
  • Participate in QA and user testing with external partners to ensure proper app functionality
  • Maintain app CMS and update assets in alignment with product launches and campaigns
  • Support campaign planning in collaboration with the broader Marketing team
  • Monitor industry trends and technology developments to identify app growth opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize app engagement and conversion
  • Track and report on weekly push notification performance
  • Assist with dashboard creation and performance tracking with the Data team
  • Contribute to various digital marketing projects as needed


Qualifications

  • Passionate about beauty, technology, and mobile apps
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant experience (internship or work) in retail, eCommerce, or consumer products
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, apps, or eCommerce is a strong plus
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar analytics tools is a plus
  • Team-oriented and comfortable working in a collaborative setting
