Your Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for laboratory animals, ensuring their well-being.
- Observe and report any health concerns.
- Handle and restrain rodents safely and humanely.
- Maintain accurate records and facility documentation.
- Operate specialized equipment, including a cage washer.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Support research technicians with lab procedures (optional learning opportunity).
- Perform humane euthanasia procedures as directed.
- Assist with stocking and facility maintenance.
- Other tasks as assigned
- Minimum of High School Diploma required.
- No experience required just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn!
- Higher starting pay rate for associates or bachelor’s degree in animal science or Husbandry along with any related experience.
- This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. This is a non-exempt role paying $16.80 - $20/hour and can adjust along with the level of the role to match the person’s relevant experience and/or education level.
