Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Must ensure that company policies and procedures are being enforced and adhered to at all times.
Provide continual evaluation of the group’s processes and methods, to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
Provide day-to-day supervision of employee job execution, to include training, performance evaluation, and employee relations.
Ensure adequate levels of material and/or product inventories are maintained.
Evaluate inventory needs and implement strategies to meet those needs.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area; utilize safe work habits.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities
Hiring and training inventory clerks and warehouse staff, delegating tasks and creating schedules for them.
Supervise the Inventory/Warehouse team to ensure assignments are completed, and communication with internal departments is effective.
Ensure that company procedures and policies are followed, goods are available for production, shipments are on schedule, and inventory levels are kept to a minimum.
Oversee regular inventory cycle counts and physical counts as required. Collaborate with management to address discrepancies and identify solutions.
Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to maximize efficiency.
Evaluate and optimize systems and processes, implementing improvements as necessary.
Manage consumable inventory and oversee procurement requisitions as needed.
Ensure compliance with all company and corporate policies, guiding principles, and procedures.
Promote a safe work environment, collaborating with the HSE Manager to address complications and implement improvements.
Ensure area processes comply with the Quality Management System; work with the QA team to improve processes and submit non-conformances promptly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of College. CPIM Preferred
2yrs+ of managerial/leadership experience.
5yrs+ of experience in manufacturing or supply chain roles.
Experience working with diverse teams and departments.
General knowledge of warehouse terminology.
Familiarity with tools like pallet jacks and lift trucks; ability to climb and operate warehouse equipment.
Computer skills required – Proficiency with computer hardware and software, including MS Office (Excel, Word), MS Project, and Adobe.
Job Requirements
ERP experience required (Oracle preferred).
Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
Must be willing & able to work any overtime as required.
Must have flexible scheduling availability.
Travel less than 10%.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently.
Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.
Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
Factory environment with a wide range in temperature changes, noise levels, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or control; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
