As an IT Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the organization’s technology needs, ensuring that users have reliable access to essential applications and networks for their daily operations. Working under the guidance of the IT Manager, you'll help identify and implement infrastructure solutions that align with both current and future business goals. This includes exploring innovative technologies to improve network architecture, streamline administrative processes, and support production activities. You'll also be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining local and wide area networks across various platforms, while providing ongoing technical support for remote networks and internet connectivity.

Hours: Mon – Fri 7:00 am – 4:00 pm

What You’ll Do

• Work collaboratively with leadership and representatives from various departments across the company to meet their requirements or issues.
• Responsible for operation and maintenance of all computing equipment throughout the company, including installation of new equipment and its related software, and the resolution of problems related to hardware and its software.
• Ensure that the company’s IT standards and platforms are compliant and consistent with those established by the company, to ensure zero data loss via backup mechanisms, efficiency of resource utilization, and security of systems and data.
• Participate in company-wide projects on matters concerning information systems and technology. Initiate, manage, prioritize, and ensure completion of IT initiative projects within schedule and budget.
• Responsible for documenting new processes and provide cross-training.
• Procure hardware and storage space for operating systems, software, and network requirements.
• Provide 24x7/365 availability in circumstances of an outage.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Associate degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in information technology with tier1 and tier2 support.
• Experience with Cisco VPN, troubleshooting VPN issues.
• Experience with O365 account setup and MS Teams/MS Teams Phones
• Critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with arrangements, negotiation, and decision making.
• Can prioritize tasks and projects with confidence.
  
  

Compensation: $28.00 - $39.18
