The Junior Applicaitons Developer designs, develops, implements, maintains, troubleshoots and documents web applications as assigned by the Software Development Team. Develops and maintains ARCA’s intranet sites and externally facing hosted sites, ARCA Spirit. Designs, develops and implements databases that reduces data duplication to meet needs where default SharePoint data management tools are incomplete. These include project identification, scope specification (using the SRS model), programming, testing, and adherence to the software life-cycle methodology. Provides information and guidance regarding areas of expertise; interaction with staff in all units and corporations required. Has occasional contact with vendors to verify or exchange routine information when required.

Education, Experience, And Credentials

• Must have strong desire to learn all aspects of application development, deployment, and maintenance. Associates Degree desired, but not required.
• Familiarity / Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / JQuery, Microsoft Visual Studio, CSS, C#, SQL and SQL server and web design programs.
• Must be fluent in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft operating systems.
  
  

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Teamwork: Will work as part of a team. Will give input on team issues and provide feedback on team processes.
• Development: Will participate in joint application development sessions with Software Development Team and the designated/affected application team. Will use /learn HTML, JavaScript, CSS, C#, SQL and other resources for development.
• Distribution/Deadlines: Will deliver projects by set deadlines and communicate with designated/affected application team when issues arise.
• Other Applications: Will assist and provide support with other applications, including but not limited to, SharePoint, Workflows, Teams, and Power Automate.
• Customer Service/Communication: Responds to customers with appropriate support: answers questions, researches information, and/or directs customers to other team members as appropriate. Seeks to understand the concerns and feelings of others and their actions. Recognizes peoples’ unique qualities and tailors responses and behaviors. Develops solutions that recognize interests of diverse people or groups.
• Must have pro-active work style and strong interpersonal skills
• Must be able to effectively communicate with a wide range of professionals, including Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts, and the Leadership Team
• Must be able to think and write logically.

Work Setting: In-Person

Location: 11200 Lomas Blvd NE

Reports to: I.T. Operations Manager

Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Mondays through Fridays. May require work during non-scheduled hours as agreed upon in advance.

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 Depending on Experience
