Gelato Spring Water – Key Accounts ManagerAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a strategic, relationship-driven Key Accounts Manager to lead chain retail growth for Gelato Spring Water. In this role, you will be responsible for securing new placements and driving revenue across regional and national retail chains. You’ll be the lead point of contact for buyers while collaborating closely with distributor partners and our field sales team to ensure execution. This role is perfect for someone who knows how to open doors, has an existing network in the retail beverage space, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Responsibilities

• Retail Chain Account Management: Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers at national and regional chain accounts based in California.
• Sell-In Programs: Pitch new item placements, seasonal promotions, and custom programs to buyers to drive revenue and market share.
• Execution Oversight: Partner with distributor reps and the field sales team to ensure flawless execution of retail programs at the store level.
• Data-Driven Sales: Leverage retail data and insights to build compelling sales stories and support strategic recommendations.
• Collaborative Planning: Work cross-functionally with marketing and operations to ensure retailer-specific plans are aligned with company goals.
• Reporting: Maintain key account trackers and report on program status, opportunities, and results.
  
  

Requirements

• Must live in California
• 3+ years of experience managing key or chain retail accounts in the beverage industry
• Proven track record of selling into and growing high-volume retail partnerships
• Strong open book of buyer relationships and ability to open new conversations quickly
• Ability to interpret data to inform strategy and enhance retail presentations
• Experience collaborating with distributor partners and sales reps
• Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
• Valid driver’s license required

Compensation

• Base salary: $80,000
• Commission: 5% of Gelato Sales from managed accounts and sold-in programs.
• Benefits: As part of our comprehensive benefits package, employees enjoy the benefit of receiving sick pay, in accordance with state and local laws, the Company is providing you with six paid sick days and one week of unpaid vacation. Additionally, after completing a 90-day period, you become eligible to enroll in our health, dental, and vision plans. Company will pay for 50% of the health insurance coverage, should you choose to enroll in dental or vision you will be responsible to pay for 100% of these coverages. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to join our 401k plan, also accessible after 90 days of employment. Company does not contribute to your 401k.
