About The Role
We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Technician / Lab Assistant to support the daily operations of a high-functioning laboratory. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining equipment, preparing reagents, managing inventory, and assisting with internal shipments—all while ensuring smooth and compliant lab operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly maintenance on lab instruments and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues
- Monitor and refill bulk reagent levels
- Maintain and update usage logs and calibration schedules
- Support reagent and stained slide shipments (incoming and outgoing)
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Some college coursework in a science or technical field
- Prior lab experience or familiarity with automated laboratory instruments (e.g., auto-stainers)
