Lead Supply Planner for Honeywell International, Inc. in Des Plaines, IL

Responsibilities

Communicate the vision and drive the strategy for Supply Planning and Execution.

Drive Transformation initiatives and deployment of the Honeywell GDM and RR adoption.

Lead and establishing a culture of continuous improvement and process excellence.

Build a culture of highly skilled and talented professionals in preparation for progression within Honeywell.

Manage the Supply Planning function and process.

Oversee Physical Network Planning with Logistics and Inventory.

Set Policies around Service Level Strategies with the Business.

Actively manage relationships with suppliers and other regional distributions center and planning team.

Monitor supply and demand imbalances and communication/escalate.

Utilize Lean and Six Sigma techniques to rapid problem solve issues that impact KPI to drive continuous improvement actions that lead to world class performance.

Close involvement with Prod Marketing for NPI/EOL/Promotion/Projects/PLC.

Detailed involvement in transition execution.

Approve the monthly Supply Plan.

Chair SIOP Supply Review Meetings.

Attend other SIOP meetings.

Deputize for the Director / Senior Director for Supply Planning in presenting Supply Plans and Scenarios in the Reconciliation and EXEC SIOP meeting.

Location: Des Plaines, IL

40 hours/week

Employee Referral Fee: $1500

You Must Have

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field and 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, operations planning/scheduling, materials management or other Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related supply chain area. Must have 2 years of experience with the following: Strong knowledge and experience with Advanced Planning and Scheduling tools (Kinaxis Rapid Response, ETC); MS Office suite including intermediate to advanced Excel; proficient in advanced analytics using Power BI or similar; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt & problem-solving experience; SAP/ ERP knowledge and use; and S&OP knowledge. Must have an APICS, CPIM, CSCP, or CPF certification. Up to 25% domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
