Join our team as a vital member of our childcare staff, responsible for supporting multiple classrooms across the center.
What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional classroom support across all age groups, guaranteeing seamless daily operations and maintaining optimal ratio compliance
- Establish and maintain a pristine, sanitary, and organized learning environment in accordance with stringent health, safety, and licensing standards
- Execute crucial facility upkeep tasks, which include:
- Sanitize dishes, utensils, and classroom materials in a hygienic manner
- Regularly clean and disinfect surfaces, toys, and common areas to prevent the spread of germs
- Effectively manage waste, including timely removal of trash and maintaining a spotless cleanliness of disposal areas
- Collaborate with teachers to prepare and serve meals and snacks, adhering to nutritional guidelines and food safety protocols
- Assist teachers with classroom transitions, activities, and behavioral guidance, promoting a supportive learning environment
- Provide continuous supervision and engagement of children, fostering a safe and stimulating atmosphere that encourages developmental growth
- Collaborate with team members to uphold center standards, policies, and daily operational flow
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background check
- Previous childcare experience preferred (but not required)
- Must be able to meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Early Childhood Education Credential or Certifications
