Under The Direction And Supervision Of CPCCo Legal Counsel, Activities Associated With This Position Include But Are Not Limited To The Following:
- Coordination and assembling of company responses to information requests (e.g. Freedom of Information Act, Union, external Agency, litigation (e.g. discovery), and other subpoenas).
- Drafting of documents including correspondence, contract documentation, presentations, policies, procedures, and legal memoranda/pleadings.
- Providing support to legal matters (e.g. agency inspections, investigation, arbitrations, discovery, hold notices, hearings, permit review).
- Management of legal invoicing in accordance with 10 CFR Part 719.
- Management and organization of legal files.
- Knowledge and proficiency utilizing the CA Integrated Document Management System.
- Excellent legal research and writing ability.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Career Level Grade 16: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 5 or more years of relevant experience.
- Career Level Grade 17: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 6 or more years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of law in at least three (3) of the following areas: Contracts, Environmental, Labor/Employment, Electronic Discovery.
- Professional Experience supporting Legal and/or Regulatory Activities.
- Experience supporting litigation activities.
- An accredited Paralegal certificate.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.

- Career Level Grade 16: $88,200 - $111,100
- Career Level Grade 17: $96,938- $122,113
