About The Role
Uber Freight is seeking experienced customer service professionals, preferably with a background in Transportation, Supply Chain, or Logistics. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing transportation operations to ensure products are delivered accurately, on time, and in the most efficient and cost-effective way—all while providing outstanding customer service. Following training, this position offers a hybrid flex work schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home). This role is based in our Greensboro, North Carolina office, where in-person interviews will also be conducted.

About The Role

What The Candidate Will Do
- Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to its fullest potential in order to facilitate the life cycle of an order
- Exceed customer on time pick-up and delivery expectations
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers
- Effective and timely freight coverage and carrier selection through systemic routing guide and spot shipments including rate negotiation
- Leverage TMS to effectively route and consolidate orders considering best cost and transit options for all transportation modes
- Monitoring and resolving shipment data errors
- Proactive analysis to prevent service failures
- Proactively develop, recommend and implement cost savings and/or service improvement programs in support of the transportation strategy
- Professional and timely communications
- Identify patterns with shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and recommend actions for improvement
- Resolve carrier invoice discrepancies in TMS financials
- Train new customer and vendor users on the TMS, demonstrating knowledge of customer business practices and workflow
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of BI tools and Tableau reporting
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
