- Assist the Maintenance Director with safety inspections, drills and other jobs as needed
- Provide on going preventative maintenance for the building, the buildings systems, and fire/safety equipment
- Perform routine inspections of building and grounds to ensure the building is in compliance
- Complete and maintain the buildings maintenance records
- Assist and complete general preventive maintenance and repairs as needed
- Responsible for inspecting and preparing residents rooms for new occupants
- Responsible for driving and operating an 8 passenger bus safely
- Must possess at least one year of experience in a maintenance role and basic carpentry.
- Safe usage of power tools and small hand tools, is a must
- Must be able to operate a 8-passenger bus
- Must possess a clean driving record, free of major violations.
- Previous driving experience in this setting, is preferred
- Previous long-term/skilled or senior living experience preferred
- Must be able to assist residents in and out of the van
- Ability to operate the wheelchair lift preferred, but training provided
