Archer Meat Snacks—the #1 jerky brand in the Natural and Specialty Channel—is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our plant maintenance operations in San Bernardino, CA. This is a mission-critical leadership role where you'll oversee a high-performing team and be responsible for the operational integrity, safety, and efficiency of all plant systems. With our continued expansion, this role offers the unique opportunity to shape best-in-class preventative maintenance strategies and drive capital project execution, all while working cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on the floor, leads with purpose, and brings deep technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and hydraulic systems. What You’ll Own & Impact

• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of 10+ across multiple shifts
• Overseeing CMMS-based preventative maintenance and reliability strategies
• Managing R&M budgets and capital improvement projects
• Driving continuous improvement and tracking performance via KPIs (OEE, PM compliance, MTTR)
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA, GMP, and internal safety protocols
• Managing inventory of critical spare parts and vendor relationships
• Being a visible, engaged leader on the floor; especially during troubleshooting or emergencies
  
  

What Sets You Apart

• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial maintenance, with 5+ years in a leadership role
• Background in food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing strongly preferred
• Strong command of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and hydraulic systems
• Experience managing CMMS platforms and working cross-functionally
• Proven ability to manage budgets, teams, vendors, and complex projects
• OSHA certification or strong working knowledge of safety regulations
• A leadership style that is proactive, hands-on, and team-oriented

Location & Schedule:

This is an on-site role based at our San Bernardino manufacturing facility. Flexibility to work off-shifts or weekends as needed is essential for success.
