Position Summary
Oversees a team of training and support professionals to improve operational performance through targeted training and continuous support. Ensures team readiness in delivering high-quality service and resolving customer and freight-related issues.
Major Tasks And Responsibilities
- Coaches team members on customer service standards, including phone etiquette and issue resolution.
- Identifies training needs, develops curricula, and evaluates training effectiveness.
- Provides daily guidance and performance feedback to support individual and team success.
- Designs and delivers training programs using virtual, on-site, and hands-on methods.
- Coordinates training schedules with department leaders to ensure efficient program rollout.
- Ensures staff are equipped to resolve customer issues, manage appointments, and reduce distressed freight inventory.
- Evaluates training impact on employee skills and performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Stays current on training technologies and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in training and/or team management.
- Familiarity with customer service and operational systems.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support training delivery and team development.
