We are looking for a Finance Manager who is passionate about optimizing processes and controlling costs to join our team! The Manager of Managed Expense Management is responsible for overseeing, analyzing, and optimizing the organization's overhead costs to ensure efficient resource utilization and alignment with business objectives. A key component of this role involves managing Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) processes to drive accountability, improve cost transparency, and recognize opportunities for overhead reduction. This role will primarily support the Chief People Officer (Human Resources) and other global functional leaders as needed.
This is a hybrid role and requires the ability to work onsite in our Pawtucket, RI office 3 days per week.

A day in the life of a Finance Manager:
- Overhead Costs Management: Develop and implement strategies to control and reduce expenses, aligning with goals. Assess opportunities and risks as well as develop risk mitigation strategies. Facilitate ZBB processes, ensuring each expense is rationalized and aligned with objectives.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with teams to build budgets and forecasts, monitor performance, and provide variance analysis.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, including key performance indicators. Drive consistency in reporting and technology usage across all business teams.
- Expense Analysis: Analyze overhead expenses, identify cost drivers, and recommend saving initiatives.
- Operational Improvement: Evaluate and improve overhead-related processes and procedures for efficiency. Partner with procurement, legal and similar business partners to optimize vendor engagement, contract negotiation and associated process flows.
- Business Partnership: Direct partnership and finance co-piloting with Global Function owners and provide cross functional collaboration and support to Business Leaders and Finance partners.
- Global HR Support: Drive collaboration related to people and workforce planning, and global benefits, ensuring financial oversight and strategic alignment of HR-related costs.
- Policy Development: Develop and update overhead financial policies and guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5 - 8 years of experience in financial management, focusing on overhead expenses and cost control. Experience with ZBB methodologies and implementation.
- Track record of running overhead budgets and consistently reducing expenses with strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Starting Pay Range: $112,200
- Pay Range End: $168,300
