Position Summary
Assembles automotive connectors working at a bench or on the Shop Floor by performing the following duties:
Assembles O-rings, clips, shipping plugs & caps into parts according to part procedure
Understands the machine and its functions and operate according to the procedure, following all safety procedures
Reads and understands job procedure
Inspects parts through each production stage to ensure completeness
Conducts leak testing as required by part procedure
Conducts in-process parts inspection
As designated, trains manufacturing associates in procedures and processes
Obtains/runs daily jobs from supervisors
Understands and completes job sheets or uses hand-held scanners accurately, verifying the correct information is being used
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of hand held scanners and excellent attention to detail
Education / Experience
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus 6-12 months’ related light manufacturing experience required
Hours:
- This is a 3rd Shift (Overnights) full-time position with regular hours starting at 10:00pm and ending at 6:30am, M-F (40 hours/week).
