SUMMARY
We are actively seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Quality Process Engineer to join our team in Racine. This position is responsible for working closely in the day-to-day manufacturing production operations teams to identify, analyze and drive root cause manufacturing solutions to quality issues.

SUMMARY
We are actively seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Quality Process Engineer to join our team in Racine. This position is responsible for working closely in the day-to-day manufacturing production operations teams to identify, analyze and drive root cause manufacturing solutions to quality issues.

- Review, Process, Approve, investigate and assign daily non conforming materials
- Manage inventory transactions associated with non conforming materials
- Champion PPAP process for low severity level plant parts
- Assign and Follow up with vendor related quality issues to protect plant assembly lines
- Monitor and ensure vendor 8D and corrective actions are submitted and being followed
- Ensure vendor containment activity with both internal and external parties
- Partner with Supplier Quality to execute Supplier Improvement Program
- Coordinate delivery of non conforming materials to vendor for charge backs and root cause investigations
- Participate in root cause problem solving for internal plant issues
- Liaison with vendors, plant, supplier quality team on root cause problem solving on vendor quality issues
QUALIFICATIONS
The qualified candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or closely related technical discipline required
- 3 or more years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Experience with hydraulic systems/drive trains
- Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement experience
- We work in teams, seeking self-starters only who have the ability to seek out opportunities to collaborate and help the team with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal, written communications skills and proficiency with Microsoft Applications required.
- Able to work under minimal supervision, strong follow-up/follow-through skills to deliver projects on-time and within budget.
