Marketing & Brand Strategy Intern - #257726

We are seeking a motivated and strategic Marketing & Brand Strategy Intern to support growth and ongoing marketing efforts for Servco’s Buying Center, Pre-Owned business, and Forklift division. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about marketing, excited to learn across diverse industries, and eager to contribute to both the strategic and executional aspects of brand and performance marketing.

You’ll collaborate directly with the Performance Marketing & Brand Lead, gaining exposure to the full marketing funnel. You’ll work on projects that range from college partnership development to SEO maintenance to brand collateral support. You’ll also gain retail operational insights by shadowing frontline teams to inform marketing planning.

Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Planning

• Research and develop ideas to grow Buying Center, Pre-Owned, and Forklift marketing programs (e.g., events, partnerships, promotions)
• Support outreach and logistics for potential partnerships, especially with universities and local organizations
• Analyze competitor activity and identify emerging trends in niche markets
  
  

Marketing Maintenance & Execution

• Assist in ongoing website maintenance and SEO projects
• Help manage marketing assets including brochures, signage, email templates, and digital ads
• Coordinate with creative and content teams to request updates or create new materials as needed
  
  

Operational Shadowing & Business Insights

• Spend time observing operations at dealerships and forklift service sites to understand workflows and customer journeys
• Report back on insights and collaborate on how they could improve marketing touchpoints and brand experience
  
  

Advertising & Project Coordination

• Attend internal and vendor meetings focused on advertising and media buys
• Take detailed notes and help track deadlines and deliverables across campaigns
• Organize timelines, calendars, and task lists to ensure smooth execution
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Strong interest in marketing strategy, advertising, and/or brand development
• Highly organized, curious, and eager to learn from both planning and execution work
• Excellent communication and research skills
• Able to take initiative, manage time independently, and contribute in meetings
• Familiarity with Google Workspaces. Tableau, Notion, OpenAI
• Experience with marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEMRush)
• Excellent/Effective Communication Skills (verbal, written)
• Time and Project Management Skills
