Materials Team Associate

Location: Sterling Heights, MI (6701 Center Drive; future relocation to Sterling Heights facility near 19 Mile & Mound anticipated July)

Position Summary

Indicon LLC is seeking motivated and dependable Materials Team Associates to support daily stockroom operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient flow of materials to production, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting shipments to meet customer demands. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with opportunities for overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily stockroom operations, including organizing and maintaining inventory


• Assemble material kits for the panel shop according to production requirements


• Receive incoming materials from suppliers, inspect for accuracy and condition, and properly log inventory


• Package, wrap, and secure materials for outgoing shipments to ensure safe transport


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and work areas


• Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure production needs are met


• Follow company safety procedures and standards at all times

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Materials Manager

Work Location

• Primary: 6701 Center Drive, Sterling Heights, MI


• Future: Potential relocation to a new facility in Sterling Heights (near 19 Mile & Mound) expected around July

Schedule & Work Environment

• Typical work schedule ranges from 45 to 60 hours per week


• Regular overtime opportunities available


• Fast-paced, hands-on warehouse/stockroom environment

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to work extended hours, including overtime


• Strong work ethic and reliability


• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, organizing, and packaging materials


• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills

Preferred (not required):

• Prior experience in materials handling, warehouse operations, or stockroom environments


• Familiarity with inventory systems and shipping/receiving processes
