Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Chemistry and Materials R&D Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for materials design, materials processing design, and materials characterization. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to contribute to innovative projects and grow within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in materials design and development projects. Some project examples include.
- Polymeric Resin & Composites
- Latex design & manufacture
- Marking Materials (i.e., Toner, Inks, coatings)
- Additives
- Dispersions
- Develop and optimize materials processing techniques.
- Perform materials characterization and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Document and present research findings and progress reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in chemistry and materials science principles.
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Proficiency in software programming for problem-solving.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and JMP software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
