We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised professional to join our team as a Military Administrative Support specialist.
This is a full-time position based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support for our military-focused accounts, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery to our key defence clients.
Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all administrative tasks related to military contracts and orders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative enquiries from military clients, ensuring timely and professional communication.
Prepare, process, and track purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents with a high degree of accuracy.
Maintain and organise comprehensive and confidential files and records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Liaise with internal departments, including production and logistics, to ensure the timely fulfilment of military orders.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Schedule meetings and appointments, coordinating logistics as required.
Ensure all activities adhere to strict military procurement protocols and company standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative or support role.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
Previous experience working with military or government contracts is highly desirable but not essential.
