NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER - FOODSERVICE
Overview
As the National Account Manager – Foodservice, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of all strategic initiatives within existing customer accounts and targeting new customers to accelerate top-line growth across Teasdale’s manufacturing capabilities. This role manages a significant portion of Teasdale’s revenue and a broad portfolio of products, including canned and dehydrated beans, tortillas and tortilla chips, taco shells, meal kits, hominy, and salsa.
The National Account Manager - Foodservice will lead market strategy and identify relevant target customer recommendations that drive profitable growth. Will own their customer relationship, build relationships with new partners, negotiate contracts, and seek opportunities to improve margins and support business growth.
Successful individuals will leverage their existing customer relationships and knowledge to elevate Teasdale’s customer portfolio. They will play a leading role in the Sales organization and work closely with our Procurement, Quality, R&D, Product Management, Demand Planning, Operations, and Consumer Insights teams to devise successful solutions and processes that are built to drive sales growth. This role requires a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adaptable to change.

What You'll Do
- Actively manage existing customers with support from internal teams, including Quality, R&D, Procurement, and Operations
- Drive market penetration with existing and new partners via in-person and virtual calls, product training, food shows, etc.
- Develop and maintain a list of target customers that leverage Teasdale’s existing capabilities, as well as those in close adjacencies.
- Own and manage the complete new business life cycle from concept to launch
- Developing an annual business plan, including yearly & monthly volume forecasts across top customers
- Delivering key business and financial metrics, including top-line results (Revenue, Volume, Share) and key financial metrics (e.g., EBITDA), is required
- Working cross-functionally to develop and implement overall customer selling stories, while providing key insights to deliver all key execution metrics
- Develop and leverage top-level relationships at major accounts to optimize Teasdale’s positioning in the market
- Understand market trends, pricing, risk management, and commercial landscape for the Teasdale customer base.
- Provide Demand and Forecasting direction monthly across the customer base to the Teasdale Demand Planning team to ensure flawless execution via OTIF.
- Have a deep understanding of product functionality.
- Manage key customer portal processes and procedures, including but not limited to Trace One, Global Data Sync, Customer Specific Portals, and more.
- Experience in Foodservice Sales is a requirement for this position.
- Experience developing, planning, and leading strategic customer initiatives.
- Experience calling on Foodservice National Account and Wholesale Distributors.
- Excellent data analytical and organizational skills.
- The ability to break down ambiguous problems into concrete, manageable components and think through optimal solutions.
- Self-starter mentality with a high degree of follow-through; can own and take strategic initiatives to completion.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working in the consumer products industry is required.
