CIERA, an interdisciplinary astrophysics research center at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, is hiring! We are looking for experienced professionals with PhDs, from any area that connects with CIERA’s mission, from astronomy, to physics, computer science, engineering, data science/AI, and more! We encourage applications from candidates with PhDs in any field who are interested in interdisciplinary science management. This is a senior, PhD-level position, for which we will pursue the University process to be elected as Research Assistant Professor.
As part of CIERA’s leadership, the Director of Operations will help drive scientific discovery and innovation. They will lead the full spectrum of CIERA’s administrative and operational functions, leading strategic initiatives and ensuring CIERA’s day-to-day operations align with the Center’s long-term goals. The candidate will also be an integral member of the CIERA directors’ team.
