Cheshire House is a 75-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in Waterbury, Connecticut specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are currently hiring a Staffing Coordinator. Come join our team!
Responsibilities:
Reviews department policies and procedures related to staffing, to include the scheduling process, attendance policies, call-in practices, change in schedule requests, time-off requests and vacation policy.
Questions Agencies when discrepancies occur, authorizes payment with signature on the invoice once it is checked, submits original invoice to the business office.
Reviews “missing punch” report from the Human Resources Department and confers with the employee/supervisor to obtain the missing information.
Preplans coverage on all units for all scheduled time-off, including: vacation time, holiday time, personal days, and LOA's.
Transmits schedules to the Human Resource computer on a weekly basis or more frequently if necessary.
Staffing Coordinator Pay Rate:

Requirements:
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education.
Be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
Be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 40 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 4 feet.
Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
