About the On-Demand role:

As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you have the freedom to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs, making this role ideal for those seeking a flexible work schedule. You will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts that best fit your availability, using our myTime mobile scheduling app.

You will not be included on the posted weekly schedule but will have the chance to pick up shifts posted by leaders or other team members. Active engagement is essential, and we expect you to respond to our contact attempts and pick up and work the shifts you choose.

Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain employment with Target.

If selected for the On-Demand TM position, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are prepared for your role. Afterward, you can use the myTime mobile scheduling app to pick up shifts.

Guest Advocates are advocates of guest experience, welcoming all guests with warmth and exceeding service expectations. They have knowledge of both physical and digital services and solutions and contribute to guest loyalty by promoting and selling our offerings.

As a Guest Advocate, your responsibilities may include:

• Creating a welcoming experience by greeting guests authentically
• Observing and responding to guests' needs and tailoring your approach
• Engaging with guests, asking questions to understand their specific needs
• Providing knowledge about our products, services, and tools to improve the guest experience
• Scanning and bagging items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
• Addressing guest concerns and resolving issues
• Assisting guests with various services such as order pick up and drive up
• Maintaining a clean work area and stocking supplies
• Demonstrating ethical conduct, safety awareness, and compliance
