As an On-Demand team member (TM) at Target, you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you prefer. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

Responsibilities as an On-Demand TM:

• Create your own schedule by picking up shifts that are posted by leaders or other team members through our myTime mobile scheduling app.
• Active engagement is required by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to our communication attempts.
• We will reach out to you throughout the year via your provided contact information to confirm your availability and interest in working shifts at Target.
• Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to remain employed with Target.
• Effective communication and availability during high-demand periods are crucial to your success in this role.
• If hired as an On-Demand TM, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo a short-term structured training schedule to prepare for your new role.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

As a Guest Advocate at Target, you will focus on providing exceptional service to our guests. We welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by prioritizing guest interaction and resolution. Our goal is to make shopping effortless and seamless for guests at various touchpoints, from checklanes to guest services.

Responsibilities as a Guest Advocate:

• Create a welcoming and inclusive experience by greeting all guests authentically.
• Observe guests to determine if they need assistance or want to interact and adapt your approach accordingly.
• Engage with guests by asking questions to better understand their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about the products, services, and tools available in the store to improve the guest experience.
• Thank guests sincerely and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and follow food safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait times while maintaining accuracy and guest service.
• Inform guests about brand launches, store activities, and events.
• Promote and assist guests with the Target RedCard application process.
• Guide guests on utilizing fulfillment services, such as Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and using the Target App.
• Handle returns and resolve guest concerns in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to a clean, organized work area and stock supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance, safety, and ethical conduct.
• Support guest services, such as order pick up and drive-up, while adhering to adult beverage laws.
• Perform other duties as needed to support business needs.

• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with regular attendance.
• Active engagement as an on-demand TM by picking up shifts through our myTime mobile app and responsive communication with us.
• If we do not receive a response to our communication attempts, your employment with Target will be terminated.
• You must work at least one shift within 6 months or your employment will be terminated.
